This morning was a great day for a race. Nice and cool. Fast flat course. The race was a benefit for the Franklin Community Cross Country team and the guys took it out at a FAST pace... we're talking the first 10 finishers ran under a 6 minute pace!
I ran my first mile about the same as I did on Saturday but managed to hold it together for the rest of the race to run my fastest time of the year.

Last 0.1 - 0:36.9
Official time - 24:47.9
Average pace - 7:58
Won the 40-49 age group by 48 seconds. Pretty good morning for me. Got a 2 mile warm down in and now I have to go to work.
